"All Harkins Theatres locations are being upgraded with technology for the hearing and visually impaired, the Scottsdale, Arizona based company said Tuesday, August 23, 2011.

 

Personal closed captioning devices with digital text displays will be available for hearing-impaired customers.  Visually impaired moviegoers will have access to headsets that provide dialogue, sound effects and audio description of the action on the screen.

 

Harkins Theatres said installation is set to begin in late fall and be completed by the end of 2012.  The Oklahoma City location is at 150 East Reno Avenue in Bricktown."

No exact date is yet available for any specific location.
